Already available for
a few months, the latest in the much copied and imitated line of Vario clutch systems, are the hard anodized versions of the popular 3
and 4 shoe Vario clutch. The 3 shoe version, OT-FR121, comes with the
optional 3/4/5 adjustment cap, which is more suited to US style tracks,
and measures 35mm in diameter and 18mm in height. The 4 shoe version,
OT-FR124 (shown), comes with the finned flywheel, measures 35mm in diameter, and
is 16mm in height. Both are hard anodized and come assembled, and share
shoes and springs with their respective Vario systems. These clutch
systems will fit various 1/8th off road models. |

For the World Champion Hot Bodies D8 line of buggies and trucks, the
Option Team line has expanded to include buggy towers (OT-UR501 and
502), rear toe plate (OT-UR504), and aluminum diff housings (OT-UR510).
Both Ty Tessman and Jesse Robbers have used Fioroni's D8 parts on their
winning cars.

The Losi
8ight family of vehicles gets the Fioroni treatment with the introduction of
the EU shock
towers (Ot-UR331 and 332), shock standoffs (OT-UR327), and shock ends in
aluminum (OT-UR325). The EU towers contain all the original shock mount
holes, plus the EU holes. It's like 2 towers in one. No more shock failure
with the ergal shock ends, and the shock standoffs lower lower both the
weight and center of gravity of your 8ight vehicle. |

For the all new Durango
DNX408, the Option Team has several upgrades to increase performance and
reliability. First up are the aluminum diff cases (OT-UR455). Already a
popular upgrade on some of the other buggies, these cases hold more oil,
dissipate heat better, and minimize the occurence of stripped bevel gears.
|
|
|
Even more
ergal parts for the DNX408, are the front lower arm mount (OT-UR456), front
upper steering plate (OT-UR457), and front chassis brace (OT-UR458). The
upper plate and chassis brace replace the stock plastic unit allowing for
increased front end stiffness and response. The upper plate can be used
independently of the brace if more chassis flex is required.

Another
innovative product from Fioroni is the new Ultra Racing .21-.28 Liner Sleeve
Extractor, OT-UT50. This tool allows you to safely and quickly remove the
lining sleeve from your engine, a must for every serious racer. |

After removing
the piston and rod, simply install and twist... |

...and remove the sleeve.

For the IFMAR world title winning MP9 come lightweight hard anodized axles. In addition to being lighter than the stock units, these axles feature 3 offset holes for the drive pin. You can minimize or eliminate the play commonly found in this part and/or eliminate the need to use a washer between the axle and bearing. Part number OT-LIC04, sold in a pack of four. These will also fit most other vehicles with a 2.6mm drive pin.

For the EU or long MBX6 chassis is the latest LIC component, the 110mm rear center driveshaft, OT-LIC18. Reduced rotating weight means better acceleration and deceleration.

Fioroni re-introduces the popular
dual action shock pistons for modern big bore shocks. The first versions
were made nearly 10 years ago for 12mm and the then big bore 13mm shocks and
testing by top drivers provided feedback that the pistons reduced chassis
slap and improved handling and speed over woops sections.
|
|
|
As the piston
moves through the shock body, oil passes through the large holes, applying
pressure to the o-rings, thus slowing the movement of the piston.
